Dedication

Welcome to Rob Fried Remembered. This site is meant to be a place where someone can come to share experiences and interactions they've had with Rob. Whether partaking in a meal, a conversation, or playing music together your memories contribute greatly as a resource for those who have lost the opportunity to do so. Or someone may come here just to learn more about him, and meditate on the memories of others.

Rob was an artist who was driven, passionate, funny, intelligent, and sensitive.

He could sense conflict and tension in a given situation and become a divining rod of expression in this regard. He was a seeker of resolution if you were caught in his cross-hairs, and you did well to deal with it quickly!

He had a fondness and nostalgia for the culture of the 50s and 60s, simpler times when family life was not as we know it today. He was an avid movie buff. He liked to draw and create with his hands. Rob wrote about many of his road trips across the country, and had an appreciation for photography in documenting these events.

He was both a businessman and an entrepreneur, establishing his own business successfully as his parents had taught him through theirs. He also lent a hand in marketing the talents of the bands he played in.

He was well-versed in spiritual and social philosophy, and was conscious of his inner health. He was blessed to live many lives, and had a voracious appetite for new experiences. Rob made many bonds over the years, especially in the world of music. An effort is being made to collect different recordings from throughout his history to incorporate here. There have been many heartfelt expressions made in Robs' honor, and, as permissions are granted, will be reprinted within the Sharing Memories section. If you would like to contribute photos, artwork, audio or video as permanent additions to this site, please leave a message with the site administrator via the contact page. Thank you.

Through reading, reminiscing, and sharing, may this site be a source of healing and joy in remembering Rob.

Peace.
